Hide The Clues: Who Is That Explorer?
Practice: Get ready for some activities.
Activities are designed to be parent- or teacher-supervised.
Activity 1
Here is a list of the materials and supplies you will need.
- White note cards
- Markers
- Pencil or pen
Step One
Each child will choose one explorer without telling anyone who they chose.
Step Two
They will use white note cards to write three facts about their explorer from the fact sheet.
Step Three
After completing their notecard, the students will play hide the clues- Who is that explorer?
By hiding their clue cards around the room and then guiding the other children to find the clues, the children will say,
“You’re getting warmer.” or “You’re getting colder.”
Step Four
When the students find a clue, they read it aloud and guess which explorer the clue is describing.
Step Five
The students will continue to find all three clues, even if they guess correctly on the first clue.
