Seeing your friends, learning new facts, reading new books, visiting the school library and playing on the playground are just a few! There are so many opportunities to learn and have fun at school. An opportunity is a situation in which it is possible for you to do something that you want to do. The opportunity to learn and grow is something that makes our country special.
Why are learning and going to school important?
Today we are going to learn about an important man named Booker T. Washington. Booker T. Washington believed in the power of education. Education is the process of gathering information about the world. We are going to learn why education is important. We are also going to learn about Booker T. Washington’s life and his impact on education.
