America’s First President: 2nd Grade

In this course, we will learn about George Washington, who, for many, is the ‘Father of America.’ We will learn about George Washington’s way of life, in particular, his life growing up, his first career as a surveyor, and his family life, including several moments of heartbreak and his first experiences in the military and in politics. We will learn about many of the experiences that shaped George Washington in becoming the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army and the first President of the United States of America.
