Freedom of Bark is the first book in The Little Patriots Program and Dr. Carson’s newest book series featuring Liberty the Eagle from the Star Spangled Adventures cartoon series and the Barker family, a family of dogs learning how to be great classmates, friends, neighbors, and citizens.

In Freedom of Bark, Liberty tells a story about how the Barker pups learn about their Freedom to Bark and why it’s important to be mindful of what they bark! Young readers will learn we are fortunate to have Freedom of Speech and we must use this freedom carefully by always speaking the truth with kindness and civility. The beautifully illustrated and educational 32-page book is suggested for children ages 4-8 and features discussion questions at the end of the book for families and schools.
